Aims and intentions
This programme is designed for experienced teachers working with children who have language and communication needs. Participants will acquire specialist knowledge in this area and develop strategies for successfully working with children who have these needs.
Approaches to Teaching and Learning
Teaching is typically delivered over 13 full days (11 Wednesdays and 2 Saturdays) across 18 months. Participants take 8 modules totalling 120 credits.
Assessment
Assessed work takes a variety of formats from standard essays and other produced work through to a presentation to colleagues.
