Aims and intentions
This programme will allow you to explore and evaluate a wide range of applications of ICT in education, investigating how these might relate to your professional practice. ICT is examined as a subject area and more widely as the use of ICT is developed in society.
We consider how wider developments might change the ways in which schools and teachers operate.
Approaches to Teaching and Learning
Teaching of each of the ICT modules is normally based on twelve weekly evening sessions during which you take part in a range of activities including lectures, seminars, tutorials and workshops.
Assessment
In a variety of ways including essays, presentations and the development and evaluation of ICT based resources; assessment will normally relate to your own professional practice.
