Aims and intentions

This programme is ideal for teachers, lecturers and other professionals involved with learners with Special/Additional Educational Needs. A strong emphasis is placed on the issues surrounding the current inclusion debate.

 

Approaches to Teaching and Learning

Teaching of the SEN modules is normally based on 12 weekly delivered evening sessions which combine lively discussions with lectures and formal student presentations.

 

Assessment

Work is assessed in a variety of ways depending on the module. These include presentations, assignments and the development of individualised schemes of  work.
