Professional Learning and Guidance Awards you can register for, or progress to, from this programme: PgCert PgDip This programme: 180 credits Aims and intentions This programme is ideal for anyone within a learning environment wishing to develop their professional skills in supporting learners. It may be of particular interest to those in mentoring, training and/or appraisal roles in educational organisations. Participants will consider issues relating to learning and guidance, including assessment for learning, improving the effectiveness of the curriculum and the organisation itself. Approaches to Teaching and Learning Participants will be offered a wide variety of delivery methods, enabling them to individualise their course of study according to their own interests and working life. This programme enables students to develop their understanding of both personnel and curricular mechanisms within education establishments. Students are also able to develop their skills in these areas.
