Aims and intentions
Participants in this programme will consider how views of childhood have evolved and how they effect our attitude towards children, the provision of children’s rights, policy and practice. In addition, participants will explolre the nature and value of the multi-discipline approach to education and care, critically considering quality in the curriculum in the context of children’s rights.
Approaches to Teaching and Learning
Teaching on this programme is by a mixture of lectures, workshop sessions and directed study.
Assessment
Assessment will be primarily through a number of written assignments and personal reflections.
