Aims and intentions
The different programmes enable education professionals to develop their knowledge and understanding of both specific and more generic issues in education, as well as their understanding of educational research.
Assessment
Assessed work is integral to activities and relates to professional practice: there are no formal written examinations.
Appropriate prior learning can be accredited enabling some participants to ‘fast-track’ certain elements of the Master’s /Ed.D. programmes.
Applicants can register for a specialist Postgraduate Certificate in the Practice of Education (PGCertPE) programme (60 credits) or a broader M.A.(Ed.) programme (180 credits). Credits gained this way may contribute to a taught doctorate (Ed.D.) programme (540 credits)
